Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the age of 88. He was elected pope on March 13, 2013, and he was the first pope in history from the Southern Hemisphere.
As a remembrance of his patronage to the community, this is an opportunity for the community to gather and eat a meal, shared with each other and remembering Christ among us in the members of our community.
Just as the Father is patient, so are we to patiently await for the return of those who have been led by the pleasures of this world. And to pray for them.
